The Traveling Teacher was created with one simple belief: learning music enriches lives. Music builds intelligence, compassion, confidence, and connection — and the world needs more of all of that. With over 30 years of teaching experience, The Traveling Teacher brings beginning piano lessons directly to students’ homes throughout Las Vegas. By teaching in a familiar, comfortable environment, students are able to relax, focus, and truly enjoy the learning process.

Learning music is about more than playing the right notes. It is about listening, expression, discipline, and joy. At The Traveling Teacher, we believe that music education helps create kinder, more thoughtful people — and that impact lasts a lifetime.

Beginners Are Our Specialty — At Any Age

One of our most meaningful experiences was teaching a student who began piano lessons at 92 years old. She had waited until later in life to follow her dream and enjoyed two wonderful years of learning and making music. Her story is a reminder that music is for everyone, at every stage of life.
